Sydney is unique in being situated on an extensive series of waterways. With out having to travel more  than a couple of kilometers, you can find rivers and bays that give no indication that they are on the doorstep of Australia’s largest city. For those wanting to kayak somewhere new, there is a wealth to see and do and that is where we come in.

   Something Different!
sydney’s waterways
JRK use the New Zealand designed range of sit-on kayaks, Feelfree. These craft are highly maneuverable yet still extremely stable and user friendly, so people of any experience level can use them with confidence. Each kayak is fitted with a padded seat and back rest which supports the lower back and makes paddling a far more enjoyable experience. We have three types of kayaks in out fleet, ranging from 3 person “Tri-Yak” to single seater “Nomad” kayaks with the double “Gemini” proving the most popular. For local sales check out Paddlecraft at Bayview or national distributer Active Waters Sports.

What to bring
We will supply all the basic gear you need to get on the water. But besides a picnic lunch, there are a few personal items we strongly recommend you bring on the day. Print out the CHECKLIST and pass it onto the rest of your group, so no one is court short. For current boating weather for Sydney and Pittwater closed waters click HERE.
