Northern Rivers NSW, is broadly defined by the Tweed, Richmond and Clarence River systems and covers an area of just over 20,700 km2.  The rivers and their tributary offer a wide range of paddling conditions, as they wind their way through rambling farmlands, National Parks and State Forests. The area is rich in natural beauty and offers a surprising variety of paddling experiences.

Contact us to discuss where you are planning on visiting and we can advise on a suitable location to paddle.

Please note, that JRK paddle rivers, lakes and eateries systems and is neither a white water or off shore company.

   Something Different!
inland waterways
JRK use the New Zealand designed range of sit-on kayaks, Feelfree. These craft are highly maneuverable yet still extremely stable and user friendly, so people of any experience level can use them with confidence. Each kayak is fitted with a padded seat and back rest which supports the lower back and makes paddling a far more enjoyable experience. We have three types of kayaks in out fleet, ranging from 3 person “Tri-Yak” to single seater “Nomad” kayaks with the double “Gemini” proving the most popular. For sales visit the national distributer Active Waters Sports.

What to bring
We will supply all the basic gear you need to get on the water. But besides a picnic lunch, there are a few personal items we strongly recommend you bring on the day. Print out the CHECKLIST and pass it onto the rest of your group, so no one is court short. For current boating weather for Sydney and Pittwater closed waters click HERE.
